Day 11 Evening Light

Here is the photo.  Obviously tired.

Day 11 Evening Light

Had to get this one in quickly as the sun was going to set.  Put my bug stuff on and got to work.  It really went well  and my neighbor did not move his boat.  I love the evening colors.

New paintings for my 60/60 challenge

Okay, I have been lax at getting these on so I will start adding them now.  Seems like days get shorter and shorter.

Day 2

Decided to do the pampas grass across from my studio.  At least it stood still...mostly.  Did not like the canvas this time and will have to reprime the others that I bought in that set.  Thank goodness Dennis stretched a bunch for me.  It was out of canvas that we had bought a while back and it is great.

First day of challenge

I finished my first painting of the series.  I decided to do the fig tree in my back yard here in Homosassa, FL.  It was beginning to leaf out and I thought it would be good to be able to go back in a few days and repaint it.  It seemed like the leaves were coming out more and more as I stood there painting.  I don't think I will be able to see the branches when it is complete.  Anyway, it was a good day.  It is an 8 x 10 in oil.

The Day Before Painting Begins

Tomorrow I begin the 60/60 Painting Challenge, i.e. painting and posting a new painting for the next 60 days.  All have to be done from life but can be in any media.  Nervous....yes!
